When we think of the greatest athletes of this era, of self-motivation, overcoming adversity, shining under stress and pressure, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lebron James names immediately come to mind. They are the synonym of greatness and longevity in their respective sports.
Football and basketball legend, they both came from break families and poor background has the first one had an alcoholic father and the second one a man with a criminal record has a father. They lacked a man figure growing up so they had to work for them to lift their family and are very attached to their mother has those women have worked hard to give a decent life to their family. These two have a very similar personality but they also have similitude in their career path.
They are both from the same generation and both are labeled has self-centered sportsmen because they have a charisma sometimes interpret as pride, arrogance and a lack of humility, which is part of their personalities.
This attitude divide sports followers, Some people love it, others less, but this two never care and use the critics have motivations, they are driven by an eager to surpass themselves and that is a necessity if you want to succeed in a word where you are always downgraded, and people want you to fail, a world where if you are different you disturb.
They don’t want people to like them, the awards and trophies they won earn them to be loved and respect and they understand the fact that they cannot please everybody and that fine for them.
Summer 2018 has if they were synchronized they both decided to part ways with their team after helping them winning every title possible, Real Madrid and Cavalier for new adventure Cristiano at Juventus de Turin and Lebron at Los Angeles Lakers to help them with their chase of champions league for Juventus and NBA Championship for Lakers.
The reason? They wanted to leave their comfort zone and look for other challenges, a challenge to themselves, and this character trait is something that they share and that differentiates them from the other athletes in the world. The need for new challenges, new goals, new limits to reach and surpass.
They are talented, they train very hard but above all, they are extremely professional but to be like them you need more than that, you need to take risks in every step of your life, against everybody, regardless of logic, age, to fulfill your full potentialities, forgetting about criticism, concentrate on you and you only, on your goals, your abilities, your desire to win, to inspire, to succeed to lift others.
They bring confidence to their teams and teammate it likes only their presence give something more, something that was missing.

These two athletes are obsessed with the care of their bodies they are compared to machines and called freaks of nature, they like winning; losing is something that they don’t accept, and that sometimes has to coast them to be called sore losers.
You can be or not a football or basketball fan, you can like both or neither of these two, but there is an undisputable true: none of them live you indifferent.
You can learn something from their trajectory, from their road to success.
They are the best in what they do, they are a brand of their own. They won in every challenge they imposed on themselves. They are KINGS.
In a posture of a hurt beast they shine more than any other, they like difficulty; they pull out of difficulties unsuspected strength to perform amazingly.
Sports is also about personality, mental preparation, about the ability to match expectations, about confidence in you, your own skills, training hard and talent is not enough and that is something that Cristiano Ronaldo and Lebron James have understood and mastered.
This is probably the last challenge of their careers before they retire or maybe not. But the truth is that we only have a few more years left to enjoy these two icons of world sport.
Their legacy is indisputable. They have nothing else to prove to the world.
